Steve Smith wins a game with the Gopher
Sevens Golf is pleased to announce that Steve Smith (Devilbend Golf Club) has won the Win a Game with the Gopher Promotion. Steve met the criteria of having played 7 games between Nov 9th and Dec 20th and has won a $500 prize pack including Sevens Golf Merchandise and a $320 gift voucher from the Devilbend Golf Club Pro Shop. Steve will now also get to face the Gopher one on one over 3 holes at Devilbend in the Gophers first match for 2010. We will have all the photo's and the match result next month!

News has just come to hand that although we had announced Kathy Collits as having scored the season's first hole in one at Forbes Golf Club two weeks ago, it wasn't the first at all!

Allen Fanning scores an Albatross
On Sunday afternoon, 13th December, a round of Sevens Golf turned out to be a six million to one shot Albatross (also known as a Double Eagle) on the 10th hole at Gove Country Golf Club.
