The Gopher was last spotted in Maryborough, Victoria to launch their first ever Sevens Golf season. Some of the Maryborough locals braved the freezing conditions to have their photo taken with Gopher and also got to check out some of the style that makes him a very credible 52 handicap Sevens player!

The Bendigo Golf Club launched their inaugural Sevens Golf season with a visit from the Gopher. The season begins on Monday October 26 with a two week pre-season period, followed by a round robin series to begin on Monday November 9. Bendigo Golf Club Professional, Darren Page, was on hand to help the Gopher with his tee shots before the Gopher met some new sevens players.
The Gopher visited The Vines of Reynella Golf Club in South Australia on October 7th to launch their inaugural season of Sevens Golf. The Vines of Reynella Golf Club also announced on the night that they would match the donation made by Sevens Golf to the Heart Foundation, of 7 cents for every round played at The Vines! Darrin Johnson (pic. right), Director Marketing and Business Development for the Heart Foundation was on hand to welcome the Gopher and Sevens Golf Managing Director Bryan Trembath to South Australia for the first time.
