The Gopher dropped in on Mildura Golf Club professional, Mike McKenzie, on Tuesday on the first stop of a national launch tour. Mike was impressed with the Gopher's golf skills and offered a few tips to help the Gopher improve on his 52 handicap over the summer. All players are welcome to join Sevens at Mildura Golf Club with non-members of the club paying just $20 per round to play, and members $5!

Peadar Byrne and Peter Brogden are tops when it comes to Sevens Golf in Darwin. Both players played over 50 rounds during the dry season with Byrne going around 57 times and Brogden 56. With the constant heat in Darwin, these two are obviously nuts, or made of steel.
By the way, the record number of rounds in a season currently belongs to Chris Jackman from Goonawarra Golf Club who played 93, that\'s right, 93 rounds of Sevens Golf during summer 08-09.
