Devilbend Golf Club meets the Gopher

Devilbend Golf Club (VIC) met the Gopher on Friday 16th October and took him on in a Nearest the Pin competition on the TOC at Sawgrass' famous par-3 17th.  The island green proved a challenge for some, with many balls lost in the water, but the Gopher had no such trouble, hitting his shot to about 7m from the pin!  Two players were lucky enough to hit the ball inside a metre and all walked away with a prize at the end of the night.  The Sevens Golf season begins at Devilbend Golf Club on October 26 with two weeks of pre-season, with Round 1 due to begin on November 9th.  The Gopher waves to the crowd below, and shoots for the green in the Wii golf Nearest to the Pin competition.
