Ken Farley and Tony Earl both produced superb scores of 20 points to lead Cousin 'IT', while Kenneth Hicking and Chris Curley countered for Curley & The Bell Ringers with 21 and 19 points respectively. With the match tied and another two scores to come into calculations it was a very tense match right to the finish. David Helliwell, Derek Everton and Graeme Wilson all did the job they were expected to do and play around their handicaps for a total of 78. Richard Howard (16) and Paul Taylor (15) also contributed to the Grand Final win for Cousin 'IT'. Curley & the Bell Ringers came close to taking the match but unfortunately for them, scores of 18 points from Timothy Perkins and 17 points from Bigyan Chand and Chuck Fuller were not enough to get them over the line.
