Myself and friends really enjoyed the Season and very excited to play again next season.  Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy the game of Golf without a lot of pressure, we had lots fun and made a lot of new friends.  It's a great game and the next season can't come quick enough for us.

The Vines of Reynella introduced Sevens to South Australia in November 2009.
Despite some initial skepticism shown by management and some members, we saw 68 Sevens registered players play almost 900 rounds during the season. Under the leadership of Ladies President, Jan James, a small committee of believers worked tirelessly to ensure a successful season that culminated in a presentation dinner at the club on Monday 29th March with 70 people in attendance.
A number have, or are in the process of joining as members, and a great deal of enthusiasm to recruit friends and family to register for next season was evident.
All in all, Sevens is a wonderful opportunity for clubs to give new potential members the opportunity to try golf at nominal expense.
The program is extremely professionally run, with Managing Director, Bryan Trembath, providing assistance, advice and support at any time.
We at the Vines see Sevens as a great vehicle for reversing the trend that many golf clubs are experiencing, and gaining more members.

Sevens golf was a great way to introduce potential members to the game of golf. The event is very well supported through printed media, assistance with TV and radio advertising and Bryan Trembath's assistance on site was very much appreciated. The flexibility of only playing 9 holes any time during the week worked really well for those with time issues due to work commitments. The fact that you could track your progress on the website was also well received by all Sevens players and the Presentation Night was a big success. The Club also picked up a few new members thanks to Sevens Golf. Sevens Golf will definitely be a permanent fixture for the Devonport Golf Club.

Sevens Golf is sensational as it allows players to play at a time that suit themselves. It value adds to existing members and has given lots of social members more reasons to get out and play golf.

It's no secret that participation numbers in the game of golf has suffered in recent years. Despite the fact that there are more theories getting around the traps than the Di Vinci Code I think we probably all agree that the major issue is time. An 18-hole game of golf just takes up too long for some and the fact that it usually takes place on set times on the weekend's doesn't help.

Sevens Golf offers the perfect solution for the golf club looking to attract new faces and golfers who have lost contact with the game through changes in lifestyles. The guys have done all the hard work at Sevens and the system they have put together is fantastic.

If your club is serious about attracting more golfers to the course, then I strongly suggest you contact the boys at Sevens Golf.

Our experience with Sevens Golf was excellent and produced a few new regular golfers for Queanbeyan Golf Club. Our Sevens players enjoyed the concept and the freedom to play at times that suited their weekly schedules, and we are now looking forward to making the next season bigger and better. I highly recommend Sevens Golf to any golf club serious about attracting more people to play the game.

I have been a member of the Griffith Golf Club Co-Operative Society Limited for 35 years.  Over the last 26 years I have had a direct involvement in the preparation of the clubs monthly and annual financial accounts and feel well qualified to comment on the positive effect that the 'Sevens Golf' concept has had on our club.

The Sevens teams event has increased the utilisation of the course and its facilities.  Up to 600 cards a week have been recorded compared to previous teams events where the average cards recorded were 300 per week.

The result has been a significant increase in green fees and the positive flow on effect on bar sales and poker machine receipts.

Of greater importance has been a 13% increase  in new memberships in the first year of Sevens and currently a 12% increase this year.  This fact ensures the future of the club through new generations of members.

The success of the Sevens concept is in its format.  It allows social golfers to participate in an organised golf competition with members.  These golfers are introduced to the unique golf handicapping system that enables them to compete with experienced golfers and be rewarded for improvement.

I have no hesitation in recommending the 'Sevens' team golf concept to any golf club based on its success and acceptance at our club.
